Solenoid Overdrive Capacitor question

I am about to build this particular circuit but notice the schematic calls for 3 capacitors which says "BP" yet clearly has the symbols for polarized caps. Which type is preferred? Can BP's be used and if so, would there be any advantage or disadvantages? thanks in advance.

BP or bipolar, non polarized wouldn't make much difference looks like you could use either as long as you get the polarity correct If you use polarized caps, there wouldn't be any advantage using either type apart from cost

BP question. So can I use a polarized cap as long as I have the polarity correct. The positive side goes with the positive and negative with negative? Sorry I build a lot my pedals with crayon.

The bipolar capacitors are optional.

Just observe the polarity of the silkscreen (square pad is positive) and you can use standard polarized electrolytic capacitors.
