I find that the magnification can help with spotting bad solder joints. On my most recent build I noticed that a few of the joints looked great, but then with magnification they definitely looked cold, so I reflowed them.

You might have a better chance of success if you build a somewhat simpler circuit. Won't have to worry about so many components that you have to keep track of.

I actually did do some color correction, but I looked at the un-edited photo and it had the same blur. Not sure if the blur is the camera not focusing right in that spot or if it's something else.

Check for cold joints, which are the round blobs of solder that aren't shiny. You want to have a Hershey kiss shape that is shiny. Also start a new troubleshooting thread please.
