So while I wait for Robert to drop the Signal Blender and a 4 tap DC converter PCB I spent New Year's Day finally getting to a project I've wanted to do for a long time; Rehousing my massive Big Muff Pi. It was actually a pretty smooth job.
The key to it all was using 9mm pots...
Yeah, my interest is in clean power for less than $20 per output. Something with 24v-9v input makes it adaptable with a lot of cheap commercial power supplies.
This was the cheapest DC converter I found, but its 9v to 9v iso. Anxious to see your build list.

(The MXR Brick is going to be a real bargain now when this comes out. Its got two extra 18v outputs that could finally...
So Robert, I could theoretically use one 12v or 18v output from my power brick and use this to daisy chain 9v isolated to four more pedals? If that's the case, it would seem like a game changer. It would add value to all those cheap isolated (not really) power supplies on Amazon.
Those...
Can you suffer a fool for a couple of minutes while I work this out in my head? So the guitarist would have to split their signal to two effects pedals before this pedal so that they could feed the return of those effects into this to be mixed with the clean signal? Does that make sense?
Or...
Yeah, I just used the paper template PedalPCB provided and printed it at actual size. But I'm sure you could rearrange the knobs any way you want, ala Fairfield Circuitry. The box is cavernous.
Be warned, the paramix layout is not very good. You are going to end up with a rats nest of wires. I'd love to see someone clean it up. Maybe PedalPCB could be talked into something like that?
Yeah, I've been there. Doesn't look like a lot of those folks had much trouble with the Mobius. I'm sure they are more competent than I am. I'd ideally like to find the forum where all the problems are discussed and resolved. But I'm not above making my own mistakes too, ha.
Against my better judgement, I've started building a Mobius Strip. It is a complex build and I have had problems with simple builds (I can count on one hand the number of pedals that fired right up for me) so I'm anticipating problems with this one. I was hoping there was some great advice on...
Yeah, I can do that later on. It's tricky to take apart and I used solid core wire so it all comes out as one piece. Glad I used 9v "outies" instead of "innies," ha.
I did use the same JFETS, yes. But as I said, I included a second 9v power jack so that I could daisy chain this pedals' power with another pedal so I don't waste a 9v output from my power brick. That "courtesy out" jack is the thing I'm not sure about. I've never wired one before so I just...
