It’s no secret that my wife and I have been looking for a new home for quite some time. We probably know the comprehensive market of our 3-state region better than most licensed realtors ( hey it’s my narrative ).

Along the way, we’ve come across everything from drop-dead gorgeous homes, to who-dropped-dead-in-there? With the onslaught of covid, monkeypox, zebra-skin, and ducktail diseases…we’ve limited our cursory searches to the interweb, where one goes for nearly everything these days *sigh*.

I recently started screenshotting….shotscreening…taking pictures of my , in what we‘ve come to call “The Picture of the Day”, because labelling things gives them a pseudo purpose.

All of the pictures are actual images taken from MLS listings. Anyway, as we find ‘em, I’ll add ‘em. Maybe YOU are in a similar situation? Feel free!

First up…this was not the house we were considering, but was next door.

Oh I've seen some good ones in my search. My favorite one would be inappropriate to post because of some of the "slang" terms spraypainted on the walls inside the home.

If you tried to buy that house here in Portland, they'd be asking $450,000 and the bidding war would drive it up another $50,000. At least it comes with a free meth lab, I guess.

Just make sure it’s dual zoned commercial and residential then your good to go

I feel lucky that we can rent one for *only* about 50% of our two income household where we live.

Looking at homes is just gratuitous demoralization at this point.

Tear downs are a Million+ where I live. Never gonna happen! I could buy in rural Saskatchewan but that’s about it
