My wife and I lived in an old house in Pennsylvania for about one year, over 10 years ago. It was an old Victorian free standing single family home that had been converted to two apartments. We had the top floor. One summer morning we woke up and the house was sweltering hot. Somehow the heat had been turned on and the thermostat was set at 80 degrees. Another night my wife woke me up around 3 AM and asked me if I had said anything. I had not and I donāt talk in my sleep. She swears she had heard a whisper saying the words āI am hereā.
This story is 100% true. Iām sure there are logical explanations for both things but itās still a bit spooky.
Man i miss NJ i know exactly what your talking about the Victorian house part not the spooky partI live in an old Victorian house in NJ (no apartments, though) and I wake up sweltering in the Summer every morningā¦
