Ok so the reason for my question was I have a 7662 that would be used in like the Aphrodite circuit on hand. Got a Doxie to build in the schematic they look pretty similar however between pins 2 and 4 of the 7662 the Aphrodite is using a 100u where as with the 1044 the Dixie is using a 10u. Also coming off of pin 5 it’s 100u vs 10u. Also the 100n is swapped position but I suspect that doesn’t matter much. The 1044scpa, 7662CP & 7660 are all pin-for-pin compatible. However, their respective max voltage supplies, operating frequencies, max current outputs and max voltage outputs vary from one to the other. See the datasheets for details.
I don’t, I’d be curious though. I think I’ve been lucky and haven’t had any real issues from Amazon. I bought 10 lm13700 from that same seller and 2 of the ten didn’t work in the circulator pcb.Speaking of 7660SCPAZ, does anyone have experience with them from amazon? Legit, or nah? I know Amazon doesn’t have the greatest track record with having legit chips, but I’m wondering if they’re worth grabbing in a jam

Yea do not buy them. These are heading back. 100% not scpa. Has that high frequency whine, darn I was hoping.Speaking of 7660SCPAZ, does anyone have experience with them from amazon? Legit, or nah? You are right they are relabeled.Hard to say because it's a third party seller there. The stock comes from Bridgold Direct, so it depends on what they are carrying.
The printing looks very suspect to me. I think this is a genuine Intersil ICL7660S:
7662B can take 15v and has the boost frequency, ive used those on klones before.Coincidentally I was just looking at the TC7662, that's why this thread caught my eye.
The 7662 runs at 12kHz, no boost function, so that's a bummer.... But, it can handle up to 18V input, so that's different.
This is also what VFE calls for in their power delivery boards.7662B can take 15v and has the boost frequency, ive used those on klones before.
