1W Resistors instead of 1/8 or 1/4?

I'm building an op-amp Big Muff.

I forgot to include 1/8 or 1/4W 220K resistors in a recent order. I do have some 1W—they are huge, but I can fit them in the circuit. Is it ok to use them?

Yep. No issues beyond fit here. The only time you’ll run into trouble is if you go below the power rating specified/required for a circuit. For pedals, that will rarely be an issue.

The only issue with higher power rating is the size. You may have trouble fitting them all
