2 in 1 with switchable jacks

Sorry for the titlegore, but I couldn't figure out how to best say what I want to do ( jacks on, jacks...uhhhh, I'll skip that)

Here's the ask: Having a 2 in 1 pedal where it can either be Effect A In > Effect B Out or having individual In & Out for both that is switchable by toggle. Can this be achieved using 3pdt or is it 4pdt?

I tried to draw a diagram, but I'm pretty sure any wrinkles i thought were devoloping in my brain were only cramps

Does it have to use a toggle?

You can use switching jacks and achieve the same goal without the need for a switch.. you either plug into IN A / OUT B for A + B series operation, or use all four jacks for independent operation.

If you'd prefer a toggle for some reason you can do it with a DPDT. I can draw up a diagram but I'm not at my computer right now.
