401k comp no effect

hello all! this is my first pedal so I imagine i screwed up somewhere, but i didn't think it'd be so bad that i'd have to hit the forums for it 😭

the short and long of it is I had messed up the install for the 3PDT. For two of the wires used (pin 6 and pin 5) a multi stranded wire was used. this wire had refused to braid or tin and after at least 5 to 10 minutes of working it i had decided to go ahead and do it anyway. it did tack to the point, but connection wasn't the best.

all i had left on the actual board to install was the pots and led so i did it, and the led even managed to light up! but going to actually test it i found that the sound for bypass was fine, but the actual effect...not so much. it was initially really quiet and touch and go; i knew there was a short somewhere on the board, just a really hard to find one since i kept losing the spot where it worked. but from what i could (barely) hear, the pots were working. I had work to do.

not long after that in moving the assembly i somehow killed my led (the battery wasn't even in...) and dislodged my output live wire (pin 2 on the 3pdt. fixing both a couple days later i found that i had no effect sound at all 😞. i'll attach some pictures, but i have a couple things to elaborate on with my findings upon testing the board.

lucky for me our labs had function generators and oscilloscopes to sanity check the board. using these we found that q1 was receiving a signal, but no other transistor was getting it. voltages for q1 seem normal at a glance (7.22 for collector going to vcc, base goes to vref and it was 2 point something which i think is also ok, I don't know why but emitter had 1.5, but if that's how it works disregard.) do you all think it could be transistors?

and before you mention it, yes i know c6 is melted slightly. looking at the schematic it doesn't look crazy consequential (if im not way off it just filters for the clip pot? let me know though, can barely read these things) but if that's what it is, there's my smoking gun.

thanks for any help/critique on my soldering, sorry i didnt get the switch in the shot (was slightly out of frame on both 😅)

Is tape the only thing insulating the backs of those pots? That's a common source for problems in a majority of troubleshooting threads.

Outside of that, there are some solder joints that could use touching up and some components leads that might be long enough to make contact with something they shouldn't.

If you still have access to the scope check for audio on pins 3 and 6 of the 3080 IC.

could you elaborate on which joints need it? i know it's kinda hard to see. I also wouldn't be able to check again until monday, so bear with me 🙏
