Accidentally bought 1590B enclosures instead of 125B...

So I ordered the bulk of my components for three pedal builds from Tayda and just realized that I ordered three 1590B enclosures instead of 125B. The build documents (Titania2, Crunch Captain Deluxe, Simulcast) all call for 125b, but it looks like I could maybe put the Titania2 in a 1590B. Is it possible to do top jacks on a 1590B? I guess this means I need to buy at least two 125B enclosures...

There are a few threads here of people measuring for top mounted jacks on a 1590b. If I remember correctly, Madbean also has some drill templates.

Also, there are some PPCB boards that you can squeeze into a 1590b. Some of them you'll need to offboard wire the pots.

Measure out a piece of cardboard that's the TOP of a 1590B, a cereal-box is good;

then plunk down your PCBs on the cardboard, if they fit the cardboard they should fit the 1590B enclosure because the sides flare outwards a couple millimetres from the top to the bottom where the lid is.

IF the PCB fits, then figure out the jacks, footswitch spacing/sizing — 'cause even if the PCB fits, the number of knobs/switches and their orientation the PCB may mean 1590B is still a no-go.

It's possible to do top jacks with 1590b but it only works with certain kinds of jacks and you have to be super accurate. The 125b is much more forgiving. Since you have to order some anyway, I would just do all 3 as 125b's

Honestly that thread should be pinned/stickied given how often it comes up
