Acrobat Parametric Distortion

Can you see my pic up top? It's about 1/3 of the way from the top, about even with the line of the middle pots, on the right wall.

kind of intrudes if you're looking to build a tight pedalboard, though, with a lot of side-by-side pedals, though--that might be annoying.

I think if I had to redo it, I might try to put it on the bottom wall between the 2 3pdts, right over top of that 8-pin 4007 IC--if it fits.

oh wait, you mean, how far from the bottom edge? I can measure exactly when I get home, but basically I just measured the pot dimensions (16mm I think) and measured half up from the board plus a little margin of error (10-12 mm), making sure I had adequate clearance from the bottom of the enclosure.

Ya from the bottom edge. I cant quite see in the pictures how close it is to the bottom/lid of enclosure. Im worried about board clearence. I like the position of your volume knob. Thanks for checking I really appreciate it.

Staying true to the heinously tight spirit of this board, you have about 1-2 mm of wiggle room.

Thanks again Comrade Hoser for the volume hack. I added the mod to my build last night, and I'm declaring this an *essential* mod. At lower volumes, the Height knob produces an apparent decrease in volume at full clockwise. The new volume knob compensates for that.

And also the volume (on my build, anyway), is insanely high on other settings.
I was inspired by this build.

I'm aiming to do this with mine, offboard wire the top-most gain pot, some Davies 1900 knobs ...
and no side-knob (was too lazy to photochop it out):

I guess you could cut the legs off the pots and use hookup wire. Pretty tight with all the jacks up there, but sounds like a plan.

Indeed, very tight.

I haven't mocked it up, but the A100k GAIN is already under the jacks; I'd be simply moving it over to one side a little, to make room for the VOLume pot.

GAIN & VOL would be 9mm pots, small enough compared to the stock GAIN pot. and with some little strips of vero to make the offboard wiring more easy.

9mm left vs 16mm right, two 9mm pots are only 2mm wider than the one 16mm. With narrow knobs I think it's doable.
It's probably doable with Lugged 16mm pots. Or 1x9mm & 1x16mm.
Need to mock it up, still.

No cutting off legs required.
