There's an interesting claim about the Cornish P2 on that last tracing journal. is it true that it hadn't been traced before? What is PedalPCB's Polonium 2 based on? I was curious enough to compare the schematics but the schematic for the Polonium 2 isn't available yet.

Nah, an original P-2 (and NG-3) was traced about a year ago.








I'll get the schematic up shortly, there are a few component differences compared to Aion's trace.

According to Aion:

Note: The unit that we traced was a P-2 Blend. The blend circuit is on a separate PCB. We will be releasing the details of the blend circuit in some form soon, but for today we are just covering the P-2 circuit itself, which is the same as the non-Blend P-2.

Perhaps a few parts are subbed out on the boards that are designated to be paired with the blend board

Very likely, I know Kevin is thorough in his traces. We're not talking huge variances.

... Now that we're on opposite sides of the pond, I don't know where to get it.

For the sake of authenticity in building Cornish, Klon, and other kludges...

I honestly think it's either spray paint or nail polish.... It has a tacky/soft feeling, it doesn't feel fully cured like epoxy.

Soak a paper towel in acetone, lay the PCB on it for about 5 minutes, then it's like a big scratch off lotto ticket.
