Any interest in SMD circuits?

Since I have a few PCBs from previous research lying around, I was thinking about giving them away to people interested in trying them, but I don’t see many people in this hobby using SMD components, so I thought of asking first.

I have two different circuits based on the same effects: a Crackle Not Ok (a version of Super Hard On) and an Electra with a few modifications. These are almost the same circuits I’m using for my actual project (though I changed the CNO for the AMZ booster, that’s very similar).

One effect is the two effects activated simultaneously, but with the possibility of changing the order using a 4PDT footswitch. This one is called “Octopapa” (after a huge octopus Son Goku encounters in DragonBall). It’s intended for a 1590BB enclosure, and it consists of two PCBs.

The other effects is just the booster first with the distortion after it, in a 1590B enclosure. This one is called Boostgochi (like Tamagochi), and it’s a decent effort, actually.

All use mostly 1206 footprint SMD components, so they’re easily soldered by hand.

I also have a few 3PDT breakout boards, but the CLR footprint is also for a 1206 resistor, and the led is offboard. The holes of these ones are round (it was before I learned to do long holes with EAGLE).

So, if any of you is interested, let me know, and I can give you more info, to see if you may want anything sent your way.

Cheers!

Put your hands in the air if you're an SMD solderer!"

Nice work! Love those rainbow cables!
Those look interesting, but already got my hands full with my own SMD stuff.

My eyes are not the best, I need magnifier glasses. My hand are not that steady as 40 years ago when I started soldering cables and stuff. So I still shy away from smd's. Just sayin
