Saw this pop on my feeds yesterday:

LOTS of reviews and demos of this one out there. After hearing a few folks play with it, I couldn't resist. Didn't wanna throw myself into more debt but...f'it! :P

Got one from the Custom Shop. Here's what mine will look like:

The art work is rad. $$$$$ but rad! Rhett’s video did a great job introducing the man behind the brand. I had no clue before watching that video. I think it will do well with electronic musicians.

Based on one of the demos, I think it's a good pedal for a number of things. Quite surprised at how good it is as a stand-alone fuzz as well as a tremolo/vibe type thing. Yes, it has that weird factor as well...but the standard stuff is there too.

Assuming the description is accurate...

"The Zzombee “Filtremulator” is a one of a kind analog multi effect that delivers ..... "

Huh...ok...so there's that. Definitely gonna pop it open and look inside. Might be that they're taking the Strymon route and doing a digital/analog hybrid.

Over 65,000 musically useful random patterns!*

I'd guess it's close to 65,536. Will the switches last to catch them all? Will you be able to find the awesome one you found one drunken night?

Silliness aside, looks like it could be interesting to peak inside. I bet there are at least 3 resistors. Next contest.. who can guess the number of components!

I suspect you'll find an ATTINY/ATMEGA or PIC microcontroller in there.
Just watched a demo and this seems very similar to the Electric Druid filter fx I am working on, so I concur on the PIC. That or a combo of the Wavelord/Filter fx

Alrighty...got my pedal today. Spent a few minutes with it and, yeah, gonna take a little bit of time to learn it. Even then, I was able to squeeze out some pretty damn cool tones out of it. :)

I also popped open the hood for a peek inside. Man, gotta say that the build quality of Beetronics pedals is absolutely off the chain. Even the PCB is a thing of beauty, complete with a custom graphic and shape.

As for the components used, Robert was right...an ATMEGA controller is being used...3208 to be exact. Along with that, a couple of 4558 op-amps, a few CM050B, and a couple of CoolAudio V13700M's. I would guess that the 4558's are being used for the fuzz with the V13700M's being used as amplifiers for the modulation. What are the CM050B chips though? Are they clock chips?

Err...not really. And, good Lord, don't Google "robot porn". :p

Alright.. how many of us did just that?
