Best band of the 90’s…

absolutely love SP with all my soul, but yeah, don't we all.

barely sneaks in or qualifies as 90s, but i had to share something different:

first saw them live in '05 when they came to oz the first time. then again another 3 times or so.
somehow they never ever skipped my town, it really was the best time for heavy acts

I've only recently started to appreciate is the Presidents of the United States of America. Yeah they're goofy, but man, they rock and their guitar tones are insane.
Check out Caspar Babypants if you want to go deeper down the rabbit hole. It's Chris Ballew's solo project after POTUSA. It's technically kids music, but it's really damn good stuff.

I love everything the Vandals put out in the 90's: Fear of a Punk Planet through Hitler Bad, Vandals Good... Warren Fitzgerald is a guitar hero.

Hmm… I remember going on a roadtrip on the mid 90s and playing Weezer’s blue album until the tape started wearing out and warbling.

My first CD was dookie. Great basslines.

Big fan of the first two RATM albums.

I also liked cake. Also great basslines.

I graduated high school in 98, so the 90s is a very special decade of music for me. Alternative, Indie Rock, Grunge, Techno, Industrial, Hardcore and Nu-Metal. Just too much for there to be a best without further specification. Since there isn't much representation on the hind end of that decade I will mention Helmet, Deftones, Vision of Disorder and Earthtone9.

FWIW, my moniker for my hobby pedal building is my favorite Dinosaur Jr song I discovered as a teen off the Reality Bites soundtrack way back then.
