Best hardware for working with Procreate

I have been using a 13” iPad Pro with 1TB memory. Unfortunately, I have charging connector issues and need to replace my iPad. I am looking for a less expensive option. What memory capacity do you recommend? Air or Pro? Is the Apple Pencil Pro worth it? Does anyone use an SSD for file storage (I am trying to avoid paying for extra cloud storage.) I design artwork that I use to make teaching materials for sale on Teachers Pay Teachers. I tend to go back and re-use artwork in a number of ways and projects. Any suggestions would be most helpful and welcome.

I saw your workbench, that's a nice setup.

I don't know much about amateur radio aside from owning one of those little handheld Baofengs.... but I mainly use it as am FM radio.

FWIW it's hard to procreate with a software. It's a lot easier when it's hard.
