Here is my latest demo on the Bignoise Phase Four Phaser, an excellent sounding phaser courtesy of our @cooder and @Chuck D. Bones


This thing sounds great and looks awesome, I like making demos for us forumites and this one turned out really well.

Initially, the plan was to play Paranoid Android but somewhere between hitting record and picking up the guitar, Tenacious D came out. Totally off the cuff and not at all the plan but with some fun editing, it works! I run through as many different sounds as I can all while having super high end room from my KT66 equipped JTM 45. BigNoise has been so incredibly kind and patient with me and I look forward to showcasing more from him.

I am also hoping to get back to some normality for a change and making some videos, my studio is almost done and ready for the tour video.

On a more serious note, I love how your videos have gotten more authentic over time. It's hard to put yourself on video, let alone be yourself on video, but it shows and it's very nice to see you enjoying yourself! Pedal porn also helps..

How great is Starship Troopers? That is on my life goals of songs to learn all of, the ragtime guitar in the middle and the epic outro jam, just slays!

Since the end of 2023, I have been wanting to change the channel up and am still searching for what that might be…..

I just knew that things not only needed to look and sound better but be more me.

That started a long series of studio upgrades (that will be a separate post/video) and a lot of wondering what I have to offer in this world with already too many white guy guitar channels.

There are way better guitar players and pedal demoers, so no one is flocking to me for those reasons. There are channels that are dedicated to circuit breakdown and analysis and do a waaaayyyyy better job than I could ever do. Not to shit on my building but it isn’t anything outstanding either, so what does that leave?

My goofy ass with paint brushes and a total love of the electric guitar. I want the videos to feel like a hang, like a couple of buddies shooting the shit and enjoying a pedal and some loud noise. It is a work in progress and the behind the scenes work has not stopped, for the love of the game!

The love of the electric guitar is more than enough in my book. In the words of the immortal bard: Keep on keepin' on.
