A couple new builds I finished recently that I’m really enjoying. I’ve started using Tayda’s UV printing service and been really happy with the results. There’s a bit of a learning curve with prepping the files in Illustrator but the printed enclosures come out looking great. Had some fun with these ones.
D3lay has some real nice sounds and is a pretty versatile pedal. Does a nice clean digital delay and also has a few different flavors of cool ambient and lo-fo echo sounds. The Mix allows for delays louder than the original dry signal and removes the dry sound completely when turned all the way up.
Really really happy with the Bit Commander. You can do some fun 8 bit synth sounds with the Down octave up but all other octaves set to 0, but also has a lot of surprisingly useable Whammy/Jack White sort of sounds. Tracking is surprisingly good but has its limits.
Both builds were pretty straightforward except I was pretty off-center when drilling my top jacks- might do the Tayda drilling service next time so I don’t have to mess with it. Used the metal drill template on the top holes so that part was pretty easy.
My builds still aren’t perfect but they are getting neater and I haven’t had any major issues in the last few builds, so happy with that.
