Bluesbroker

I just built my first stripboard, the Old Fashioned, really liked the sound and the build went off with out a hitched. Worked first power up. I work from schematics so having one to work with along with your stripboard worked great.

Now I'm hooked on stripboards and your Bluesbroker looks like a good one to try next. Which brings me to my questions. Did you draw a schematic and have you built this stripboard?

Thanks for all of your contributions to the forum, I am really enjoying learning more.

Oh yeah I've built a few! I quite like this one. Here's the schematic. I haven't changed that much. I'm sure I could have done some things better but I have made this, it works, and I like the sound. I'm not an expert and I don't intend to go into production. I do this for fun and if someone else enjoys one of these circuits that makes me happy.

Thank you for the quick reply and schematic. It is good of you to share and I, like you, build for fun. As a hobby, I built tube amps for years, point to point from schematics and recently I've been building alot of pcb pedals. Thought building some stripboards for the first time would be fun and it is. This forum has become a daily habit!

Ha! Same here! I have built lots of guitar amps and would love to still be able to afford to do so. There are quite a few guys in my town who play my amps. I have never built for profit - only for fun. And as a result I have become quite an amp snob! Once you hear what a good amp can sound like you start to despair of what the majority of the amps in stores sound like. With a little more care they could sound so much better.
