Buffered 3PDT breakout board in Abyss kit?

Hi all,

I was hoping someone might be able to clarify my confusion. I'm relatively new to building pedals and just finished an Abyss pcb. However, it seems the breakout board included in the kit is the buffered one (with the extra BP hole). I can't find an example of this board being used with the Abyss online - could I wire it as usual and just ignore the BP hole? Others have said it would require jumper on the switch, or this that breakout board is incorrect for the kit. So confused!

That should work. Is this a Musikding kit (just for reference)?

It was, I was recently told it's the incorrect part, so I'm super confused! I was told the Abyss is true bypass and the buffered breakout wouldn't work.

It's possible I am mistaken then. Someone else can confirm or correct.

It can be built without the breakout board, wired as below.



You could also ask the vendor to send the right one out. Or, if you happen to be in the states, I'd be happy to send you one.
