Byrdhouse Compressor Report

Built a squish box for someone… I’ve never been a fan of compression so I cant be a good judge for tone on them but I can tell it’s doing what it’s supposed to do.. Attack turned up you can really hear it go after the strike of the strings and squish it… Couldn’t tell much with the trimmer other than adjusted all the way clockwise seems to make the attack more aggressive.

I love hammertone finishes! You can’t print over them, but still looks fantastic.

If the resistor is optional but you need the connection, it looks nicer than a bridge, in my opinion. They’re more useful in smd circuits, since bridging is more complicated than using the 0R resistors.
