I would like to build a few Oxides. I have a KEP Mostortion clone on my main board, but I’d like to have a few more. Of course, CA3260’s are pretty hard to come by. I’ve read that one can substitute most other common opamps, but I’m wondering what would come closest to the original.
I was reading about the 3rd Power Love Drive yesterday, and it appears to use an AD822ANZ, although I don’t know how close the circuit is to a Mostortion (it supposedly is a “re-imagined” version of their Roosevelt Drive, which is TTBOMK a Mostortion clone), and I don’t have a schematic. I’m wondering how well the AD822 would function in the Mostortion circuit, all other things being equal. Any ideas from the experts on this one?
