Capacitors for General Tso's Compressor

Total noob here:

I'm getting ready to order a few components to build the General Tso's Compressor. On all the pedals I've built to date (3 to be exact), I've always used box film capacitors where possible. In the build docs for this pedal it shows a larger than usual cap at C2, C3, C10 and C11. Is there a reason for this? Higher voltage? Am I fine using the narrower caps I have, or do I need to order something specific? It's not specified in the docs other than "FILM" for C2 and C10.

Also, this is my first build with LDRs. Can I just use the cheap green LEDs I have (probably just white light with a green diffuser), or do I need to buy something else?

Most 1uf film I've seen are that large, and 470n can get pretty big, too

So as long as the value matches it's ok? Cool. Just making sure. As for the LEDs I'm just gonna go for it with the ones I have and see what happens!
