Catalinbread Soft Focus

Would love to see a PCB that recreates the sounds of the Catalinbread Soft Focus; a shoegaze-style reverb pedal with chorus, modulation, and octave-up.

I ended up buying a B-stock that they had on sale recently because I just couldn't wait any longer. It's a fantastic pedal!

Sorry for the late response. I absolutely love it! Hasn't left my board since I got it
I got mine a week later and I use it a lot, whether placed subtly behind an overdrive to give it a chimey quality, or in line with another reverb and delay for huge, washy ambient goodness. It's a keeper!
(Still very much want to build one though!)

Yea, I've applied in a few different ways and you can't go wrong; and indeed, it goes without saying that I'd rather build my own. I still have my hopes up that @Robert might be able to whip something similar up for us.

That would be awesome! I have in mind to build a dual-effect pedal thay utilizes the sound of the Soft Focus as one half and an overdrive as the front half, in the spirit of Patch #18 from the old Yamaha FX500. In fact, that's probably what I would call it ("Patch 18"). Or maybe the "Symphonic Distortion", since that was the name Yamaha gave it. It sounds great with two pedals accomplishing the effect (especially with a dual delay at the end), but I want to try housing the whole thing in a single enclosure.
In any case, I just want to build this effect! LOVE IT!
