Hi,

The wiring diagram for this has the wrong PCB in it. I assumed the pic showed the correct wiring anyway, but it seems not...
The signal goes through the pedal when switched off, not when on. (Bare with me, it's the first time I ever wire up a foot switch.)

Any helpful input would be very appreciated. :)
If my board population confuses you - yes, one poly cap is on the back side.

The wiring diagram is correct, it's a generic image used in almost all of the projects.

All of your 1K resistors appear to be 1M, swap those out and see what you get. ;)

Ah, well, that explains it - thanks! :)
I rarely pick the wrong parts, but I got these as a kit and never checked the (marked) resistors.
(The other components were correct though.)

Up and running now. Nice amplification.
What about the SAG control - doesn't seem reduce the incoming voltage much. Just mine, or normal? I used a B2k pot to enhance the effect...

I haven’t built the pcb (breadboarded the circuit a while back and remember the sag control having an effect).

the higher the resistance, the more pronounced the sag effect. So using a 2k pot instead of 10k made it much LESS effective. You could measure DC at the jfet drains to see how the sag control affects the voltage.
