Just finished this build of the Citrus Press compressor by Effects Layouts, which is inspired by the JHS Pulp n' Peel. I'm a bass player and I'm really liking what this does to my sound.

I built one of these and I can't for the life of me figure out how the knobs interact. It also felt like the compression knob was turning the wrong way maybe

That's a nice clean build and great job on the graphics. As a fellow bass player, the compressor is the key to good tone -- second only to that is the pre-amp. I built the Nobelium tube pre amp, and it was a game changer for me.
