I once dried out a bunch of peppers and onions and ground them up to make a salt for pizzas in the coffee grinder. The next pot of coffee was so hot it hurt, that coffee grinder went in the bin.Yeah I'm not going back to the Keurig today.... I just need to try again. It's been a while since I had to think about this.
Also.... I just remembered my wife used our grinder to grind up some chocolate beans or iron ingot or some shit like that...
That explains the weird taste....
My grinder just instantly went from Brrrrrrrrrrrr to Grrrrrrrrrrrrr!
Used to have a French press maker. Indeed, simple and easy with no waste. Great for when you want something that is robust and natural.@Robert definitely check out a French press. No waste, easy to use—you can even make good cold brew in one if that’s your thing too. Super easy to use the grounds for compost too.
What do you mean “some bygone generation”? I have one of those.Soooo, one of these

I have way more coffee paraphernalia than I realize. This was a family “relic” from some bygone generation. I tried it once without satisfactory results. Fine line between weak af and scorched earth coffee with this one.
