It's not just another fuzz! Nothing revolutionary but seems like you can get some really cool dirt tones from it. This video sold it for me.


"The Nichols 1966 houses a unique three-transistor circuit, arming you with a distinctive "glass-shattering" sound that falls somewhere between a fuzz and a distortion, and that's highly reactive to your guitar's volume knob."

Further to finebyfine's idea, you could stack nickels brazed together and then machine the stack to make knobs,
or go the easy route and get peccary to machine some knobs with a flat top...

Either way, the stacked-nickels or the machined-knurled knobs would be topped with nickels from 1966, of course!

With 4 knobs, that'd be a 20¢ Fuzz
