Outside of the fine tuner and increased speed capacitor for the LFO, and omitting the diode for the LED, this one's built to the doc
Distortion is courtesy of one of my Rats. At some point I plug in an expression pedal
Housed in an NOS Bud Box CU-234, and labeled with a Posca pen
This things a ton of fun and surpasses EHX's version of the Filter Matrix thing, though I don't particularly care for the resonance being attached to an LFO. Built this one for a friend, and he wanted the LFO to go both faster and slower, so I replaced the 1u LFO cap with a 2.2u, and slapped a 100kC pot between it and the board for a sorta caveman fine tuner. With both knobs zeroed, the LFO is essentially out of the circuit
He didn't care what I did for labels, and wanted to take it home asap, so I whipped out a Posca pen, and off he went.
Board was a breeze to populate, but the multi turn was a pain to get set right- felt like 30 minutes just to get it to it's tiny lil sweet spot. Were I to build this again, I'd use a normal 3326 trimmer.
