delay pcb recommendation

I am looking at the different FV1 based pcbs on pedalpcb. I don't need anything extreme. Wondering about the Unison double tracker. I wouldn't mind a memory man build. If you were to build one delay pedal for rock to metal, what would you choose?

Paul. Not sure of your building experience but will warn in the event that it's near the "feet wet" category--a DMM is a pretty demanding build. Madbean's docs are top notch(best in the business when it comes to complex builds imo) and help a lot, but it is still a big time undertaking. Not a lot of handholding to be had when it comes to troubleshooting builds like that. You'll also need at minimum a scope or a good DMM with accurate frequency counting.
I don't say this to deter you as I don't know your experience level. But if you're newish to the hobby/electronics, I would hesitate at least. I've just seen it a few times where a new builder takes on a big build, dumps a bunch of time and money in it, gets frustrated and disappears-- assumingly leaving the hobby. And I hate to see that.

Appreciate the warning. I know the feeling, been there. I have a scope and dmm. Regarding my skill level, no expert but I have built about 20 pedals, a few amps: a 5e3 and a jcm800. I looked at the pcb schematic. It is part heavy but not too bad The expensive bbd chips are a sticking point for me.

I've found that a simple PT2399 delay like the PPCB Seabed is perennially useful.

In my case it's Madbean's Cave Dweller, but the Seabed is the same basic deal. It may sometimes get moved off the board, but it never makes it to the shelf.
I will look into it. Thanks

Ill 2nd or 3rd the seabed or magnetron. Rock/metal id donthe seabed, i dont imagine you’ll have a lot of use for the modulated delay. Seabed cheaper, far fewer parts, easier build.
Cool i will look those two up. Nothing wrong with a reasonably priced delay pedal.

Ah. Gotcha. They're a little less painful at cabintech than the other usual suspects
Check out the anamorph as well. Brian's own design. A kind of DMM DM-2 hybrid I believe.
