Was it swimmers? That happened to me once. One time I was in good ol' NYC (the city of apples), and one foggy morning I saw something strange floating in the East River. I got as close I as I could without losing the deposit on the rental tux, and I finally realized that it was a swimmer...a few of them. They must have been training for a world record or something, cause they were swimming REAL slow. If 'swim-planking' was a thing these guys could have written the book on it. I hope they got their record in the end...

Funny, all on the morning after the Olive Oil Importers Convention, and during that week-long cannoli shortage...
