I think this would be cool too. I own the Simplifier, but would not be opposed to building one as well. It's a great unit, and would love to see a dissection of how they did it, and what makes it tick. (no, I haven't opened mine up yet.. I might be a little chicken about breaking somehting I can't fix..... hahaha)

Yeah I’d probably build one if it was available. For now I’ve decided to just make a headphone amp with a unicab and a mixer circuit by piecing three boards together.

No need to break yours, I've seen inside one. It's not too bad, not something I would want to trace from photos, but it's a doable project at some point.
