Decent little build. I did it last night as a way to channel election night anxiety and maybe as some kind of incantation. Plus was that I almost exclusively used component legs (challenge), minus was that I couldn't get away from hand bending and it looks a bit messy and amateur hour. Maybe I need to embrace the blue tac.
No particular screw ups, the transistor legs stayed on despite some forming and bending assemblies into place. VCC rail on the left, ground rail on the right.
The number of pots were a bit of a complication, and I, as usual, didn't plan particularly well. Ended up soldering through a lot of stuff which is not ideal.
However, it works! Sounds like a pretty good and balanced fuzz, with some good texture like i like it, but without a huge variety of sonic variation, which means I should probably double check my pots. I might also be suffering from overdrive/distortion/fuzz fatigue.
Next up is the Low Fran.
