My build for the Effects Layouts Chaos Bolt. This is a recreation of the Dwarfcraft Devices Eau Claire Thunder.

When I heard tweakable Muff I was in. Plus a tuneable footswitch for negative feedback.

The layout was pretty good. All off board wiring was able to be neatly run. I'm pleased with how that came out.

For the sound, it may just be my build or it may just be the way it is, but, it sounds very dark. And a bit mid forward. Which usually isn't a bad thing. But it's just not quite doing it for me.

The BOM calls for a green LED but I only had red in 3mm. I can't imagine there would be too drastic of a difference. Everything else was exact.

Overall I'm happy with how the build looks.

4.5 for asthetic
3 for sound.

Pedal looks sweet. I like the design and colors. The last couple I have don't have been artwork only and no name like this.

I looked at the circuit for this. I'm still learning so take it with a grain of salt but I'm wondering if C1 on this circuit forms a low pass filter with whatever is before it. I wonder if by lowering it, putting a resistor before it or pulling it if it would get less dark.
