For an easy build this one was a pain in the ass. I got it all boxed up and got no bypass signal. Swapped out the footswitch and nothing. Swapped out the jacks and still nothing. I'm not sure what it is but I think there is something up wrong with the either the pads for the input/output jacks or something with the trace. Or I could have done something. All I know is once I bypassed the jacks to the PCB it started working. I wonder if anyone else had this experience.

I still have to dial in a bit but it sounds good. Not my favorite tremolo but it's a cool. Reminds me a bit of the Luna. 3 stars.

I built this a few days ago. I didn't experience any of the issues you encountered. I first started with a GL5516 LDR and a red LED. After the Vtl5c3 vactrol arrived I switched them out, but I didn't really notice a difference. One problem I have though is I can't get a read on the trimpot so I have no idea where to set it.

Unfortunately I have to agree with you on its overall operation. it's not bad, but it has not stopped my quest for a tremolo I love. I've built the Lune, Moonshot, the FV1 tremolo and this Hex trem. If anybody has suggestions please let me know.

Wavelord from madbean and ppcb vibrobot are my favorites.

Dig it! Owned an original 4 knob, LED version back sometime 2001-ish.

Question for ya, for the rate indication LED, did you need to cut down the underside of the bezel, or use long leg pots? Spotting holes for an enclosure prior to paint on one of these guys tonight.

Oh boy. What about the orientation of your TL074? Nobody corrected me when I posted mine. Is mine wrong or yours?

Yours is definitely upside down.

There are very few PCBs offered here where the IC is installed inverted, pin 1 (and the notch) is almost always at the top.
