I actually drilled the holes for one of those last night! Will build it today. I already own a Joyo Argos drive which is supposed to be a replica of a horizon precision drive as well. It's actuall my favourite overdrive for boosting high gain. The gate in it was a bloody brilliant idea, for $60, everyone should have one. Didnt realise it was so similar to the mudkiller

yeah i liked it too. but then i tried a super tube screamer clone….

im not saying i know for sure, but im assuming that the mud control is operating in almost exactly the same way that the attack control on precision drive does (variable high pass filter on the opamp clipping stage)
