Holy Sheep Shit! The Electrovibe is a big build! It's my fifth pedal build.
After two months of looking in fear at the box of parts sitting next to my bench I finally jumped into the Electrovibe. And even after heeding DKPedals sage advice of using the bbs size box, I totally drilled the top jacks like it was a shorty. Luckily the panic of thinking of replacing and re-drilling the box subsided and I was able to kind of roll them in with the pots at the same time. The power jack was another small heart attack. On my first plug in, nothing. "Nizice. That's just grizate." So back to the bench for some oh so fun troubleshooting. Plugging it in on the bench and poking with the multimeter found ZERO volts at the plug. Like a noob I had used the battery switch lug on the DC jack. YAY! That's easy! (almost not worth mentioning) Redid the positive to the proper terminal and BOOM!...a nice pulsing bulb that was easily adjusted using the aforementioned DKPedals video.
I used the Unity Gain mod as well as the increase the low end response / second phase notch depth by subbing in 10uf's. Thank you for posting all the super useful information! Also knowing that I had good place for questions gave me all the confidence I needed to not freak out when things weren't going as planned.
This forum is AMAZING! Thank you! Now I just need to find inspiration for the next build. Any suggestions? I've got thumbsucker, two cataclysms, twinface and a klon clone.
