I figure you're mostly just making the joke, but a footswitch topper would probably be quite helpful to raise it above the knobs.

Here is something I drew up, Use 40mm x 40mm Thin wall Aluminium Angle.
Attaches under the Footswitch & over Led & you can trim to what height you need to clear knobs & operate footswitch.
The Topper would also be a Bonus!
