Ever built a pedal and couldn't remember if you still had it?

Not only do I completely forget about pedals I have built but I forget about amp mods I have made. A while ago I posted on an amp forum about a possible amp mod to a Marshall style amp and someone answered with a link to a post I had made two years earlier about the very same mod. Apparently I liked it!

At my worst I bought pedals I already had. So I got this shoe rack

...

That'll be a fun job for someone when I eventually die
I glad it just isn't me that looks like this. I've got something similar in addition to boxes of pedals I've built for fun (and on the rare occasion for profit). I'm sure when I die it'll be sold for pennies on the dollar.

Well, you did start a HATEful contest... what did you expect, The Buddy-System?

No. I just keep coming across PCBs I've already bought, when I see something I think "Oohhh, I should get that!".

When I die and they lay be to rest,
my stash of PCBs is gonna go, with all my parts I've guessed,
straight to the landfill and that's no lie
So much easier, less costly, to spirit away than all the pedals of that ftumch guy...
