I purchased a champagne Tayda enclosure. I am using UV printed stickers to add my art. Prior to applying the sticker, I'll clean the pedal with isopropyl alcohol to review oils and dirt. When I cleaned the pedal, the finish became very streaky and the streaks would not buff out. I think applied the sticker, messed up, and took it off. I think cleaned the left over adhesive with lemon oil and repeated the isopropyl alcohol. The second application worked, but the pedal still has significant streaks. There also is some adhesive residue from the second application.
Any thoughts on how to remove the streaks? Other Tayda finishes have not had this problem with isopropyl alcohol, but this finish has flaws and behaves like the chromium version. I have thought about removing the sticker and placing another one, but I'll have to wait for that option. I don't have a third sticker.
In the picture, you can see the streaking near the corners and adhesive residue near the "Mag Echo" label.
