Madbean has free shipping in the US until july 4th and reduced shipping for international orders! Happy 4th! what are your guys favorite madbean projects? Im looking at the Skoolie, current lover, gas tank, junk trunk, aannnndd pretty much everything in the filtermodulation category hahaha. what are your thoughts on the different versions of the Memory man?

Gas/junk and polytrog are what I use the most. The wavelord is the best tremolo I've ever played and it can be paired with the glasshole if a tap tempo phaser with cuckoo waveshapes interests you. I was going to build one until i got my hands on that polytrog. Boom boom is also great, my rhodes player has been using mine lately.

Honorable mention - the glitchee is pretty fun and unique to the frijole loco.

Even though I have a massive backlog, I’m tempted to get the Focus mid boost and either a fiery red horse or fuzz duo. Anyone have any other VFE suggestions to throw out there too, for my consideration?

If only Madbean did the woodchipper… that would be something

The Mini Mu is my favorite VFE. It’s really fun to build all tight and tiny. And it’s the best Mutron derivative I’ve tried.

Oof, picked up the Fuzz Duo, Fiery Red Horse, Triumvirate and Dragon Hound boards. I'm a sucker for those very customizable pedals.

I have a minimu and mobius strip in my queue. Wish I could say more but I have no idea what they sound like yet. They seem awesome.

Haven’t built them yet, but I have a choral reef, tractor beam phaser, Mobius strip, and old school tremolo. Choral reef is just waiting on a few parts, tractor beam waiting on an enclosure, and the old school and Mobius strip are at the bottom of the queue since I have no idea what to do for graphics.

Gotcha. Fuzz duo and fiery red horse are good choices. The fuzz duo is a bit straightforward by VFE standards. I haven’t built the comp, but I’m curious about it.

White horse; I’ve built the bumblebee. Although cool, I prefer using a volume pedal for that effect.

I’ve built the Tractor Beam and Choral Reef as a 2-in-1. They’re definitely worth it individually!

I also have PCBs for the Blueprint, Bumblebee, and Woodchipper that just need artwork for the enclosures. Since I’m mega deficient on that, they’re on indefinite hold..

I’ve got my eye on the Blues King, Merman, and Old School PCBs though!

The VFE stuff wasn't designed by Madbean, he just sells the PCBs designed by Peter Rutter (https://www.vfepedals.com/).

You can also buy the design files from VFE directly and get the PCBs fabbed for yourself. The one thing stopping this from be a really viable possibility has recently been resolved. The hex code needed for the MCU has been released on the site. https://www.vfepedals.com/product-page/hex

I was talking about the PCBs, since you can get burnt chips right from a supplier, but I forsee getting a bunch of them too, so why not.
