Front mounted jacks are the next big thing

Dearly beloved,
We are gathered here today to get through this thing called "life."
Electric word, life. It means forever and that's a mighty long time,
But I'm here to tell you, there is something else:

Epoxy with colloidal silica thickener.

No idea what the long term prognosis of this is, but it seems okay for today.

Apparently that old saying "Measure twice. Cut once." needs an amendment to include drilling...

Put Masking tape on the inside & overfill holes with 2 part epoxy as others have suggested.
Sand smooth when totally dry & rub some black stain or matt black paint across the whole area and sand sparingly to achieve a blotchy look!
Should look something like this:

I say drill more holes along the front then put some sheet metal behind it. Looks like you meant it then.

Or, use some resin, dye it green and squeeze it out from inside the holes. Let it dry looking like toothpaste oozing out of the holes.

Or you could just glue a nameplate over the holes.

You must work for the Army Corp of Engineers...

The name plate idea is pretty solid. maybe rivets instead of glue.

Springs work, I like springs!

Oh, you could always braze it too

Said the guy that just bought everything I need to braze aluminum..... It's sort of a cross between silver soldering and lead soldering.... The capillary action rods work at around 750 ish, the welding/filling type rods work at a bit over 1000
