General Tso troubleshooting

I'm building a General Tso compressor, but get no sound in bypass or when engaged. I inspected all solderings visually and did a test with an audio probe. I get sound up until one leg of Q1, but nothing in either legs of R6, D3 and D4

Anyone know what's up?

Here's the schematic:

This one is buffered bypass.

Just to be sure, did you wire it up following the diagram in the doc? It's slightly different for this one.

What are your voltages on Q1? Where did you get it?

Yeah, I follow the build doc, so no 3pdt breakout for this build. Can I measure the J113 with a DMM? I don't have a Peak DCA75 or similar

Sounds like Q1 is bad or there’s a trace that’s not connected. Before replacing Q1 I’d test the traces in that area for continuity. Happened to me on two different builds. Everything was perfect but just ended up with a defective pcb. Easy fix though. Not common but it happens.

This my first built with an optocoupler, how am i supposed to set the LED and LDR? the flat side of the LDR should face the top of the LED ? Can i replace it by a vactrol ?
