New to me, but maybe well known… I don’t follow metal music, and this man (Kurt Ballou) is a musician and studio owner that branched out into guitars, basses, pedals, and pedal circuit boards. Most seem like distortion and high gain effects, but there are also compressors, equalizers, etc.

This is just a PSA, and not an endorsement. But I think many here enjoy poking around new designs.

I have a NEW CTG on my bench right now, just waiting on my j201 or adapter boards to come in so I can wrap it up. Not the most user friendly board but not bad!

I’ve got a turret board layout I did of his BLM fuzz somewhere on my computer. Never have built it yet.

I have the brutalist and the thing not that should not be. I am looking forward to getting a killer high gain sound.

Cool link and a cool guy so I'm interested. That comp looks kinda cool. It's a nice bonus to understand where the guy's ears are (in this case decidedly heavy) to get a take on what his projects lean towards. And interesting to watch him get better at accepting input and getting better at layouts. Part of the love of this game is getting a feel for the personality of the folks that are offering up their wares. Being a fan of a lot of the big players in this trade is fairly akin to watching what the dark side of what the industry is watching. The fan-boy spectrum of pedals holds little interest for me. But every now and then a wave hits that generates really cool stuff.
