SOLVED Golden Falk - No signal when off or on.

Currently working on build #12 . When testing I would get no sound with the pedal off or on.

To be honest I think I'm missing something obvious with the output jack. I'll ground an audio probe on the output jack and stick the probe onto the tip and I get no sound. I have confirmed that I have correctly soldered the tip and the ring. When putting the ground and probe directly onto the cable to my amp I will get a signal. However when I plug that same cable into the output jack I can't get the probe to get a signal through after grounding it on the ring tab and placing the probe on the tip tab.

Something odd that I'm noticing is that when I plug my amp input directly into the output jack the noise floor drops to zero. I have desoldered and replaced the jack with a new one but still no signal.

I'm assuming I'm missing something completely obvious here but I just can't seem to figure this one out.

Marking as solved. I swapped out the footswitch and breakout board which seemed to be where the audio signal was getting sent to ground. Those nice switches have given me bad habits.

Thanks for the suggestion about measuring input resistance tip to ground. With problem I had it would measure zero but with proper functioning it will show the dropdown resistor value?

Sounds like a cool circuit. Can’t wait to get it boxed up and play it loud.
