Got the no new builds blues.... (Whoops.. wrong area to post)

Had several irons in the fire lately and I find myself having to choose subs and gang up resistors to meet a value lately... I've let a lot of my stock values deplete completely due to not ordering onsie twosies during this tariff and inflation crap... plus I'm extra strapped lately. Just ranting that I cant afford to make a tayda order that I need to... I've got a tayda order sitting in cart for well over a month that's sitting at $250+... Need enclosures, pots, switches, cap & resistors over here.... Crazy enough is that I consistently sold at least a couple pedals a week so it was easy to make parts orders without having to dip in the joint checking account that pays the bills... I have about 20 builds for sale and haven't sold anything in over 6 weeks.. Cant even finish a dang pedal... I'm dyin' over here.
 
I was on the Tayda site a few days ago doing a general inventory restock. I bailed and hit up Stompboxparts. Is it me or does it seem like the Tayda site either has less to choose from or the interface is WAY less friendly to find stuff.

It's definitely a lot different on the way they set it up... I did have a hard time finding a couple values when I key word searched, but if you list the full run of caps the values are generally in order.. odd the value didn't show up in keyword search though. Everything still seems to be there.. haven't seen anything go away.. just a little different to find.
 
Yeah my sales have dropped as well. I've lowered prices on almost all of them. I'm sure more will sell over xmas time.

I have a tayda cart waiting to go but I'm trying to stagger my orders bc I know I'll forget something somewhere else. I get my enclosures from stompboxparts though

I just put mine up on reverb when things are flowing I get plenty of word of mouth and repeat customers.. That has all dried up entirely.., especially since there are so many people doing builds that are more professional than mine.
 
You guys are singing my song. Couldn't afford a worthwhile order before tariffs went live and sure as hell can't afford shit now. Breadboarding with half the values you need is just not the same. Been trying to brainstorm some old school build ideas for when I can find time to make the trip to the semi local surplus shop with a component tester in hand. I spend an hour in there when I have a shopping list, so having to weed through old parts to find stuff that'll make do is gonna be a fun slog

To what extend are packages checked? I mean, there's always the option for a European proxy if one is in dire need of certain things..

Been helped by Americans the other way around.

I have a good stock pile of resistors I can send that way, pretty much every value 20ish of each already sitting in a box and probably 4-5 enclosures I could spare. I stocked up on enclosures bigly pre tariffs.
