Ok, so here is a little report.
I tried two N134s and 2 D9Bs. Sounded like absolute trash. Muddy, no sustain and trailing off. I settled on a Bat41 tied to a Ge and a N4148 tied to a Ge. It was late so I cannot recall which Ge I used. I remember that the N134s I have sounded the worst. This set up sounds wonderful. It sounds warm and full and it gets distorted. It took me a while because when I boxed it I had a short. I settled that and then ripped on my guitar.
