I forgot to pick a good number, and when I came back all the good ones were taken.Wait a sec....2? I appreciate your enthusiasm![]()
Keen's method (vgs off) using improved jfet matcher (rullywow) with a target range of +/- .02 .What are you testing, hfe?
I will say 17, regardless of the method.
BTW I'd love to know more about this rullywow thing I have now. I guess I could google it, but I am also easily confusedKeen's method (vgs off) using improved jfet matcher (rullywow) with a target range of +/- .02 .
The data sheet for. a 2n5952 lists the vgs(off) range as -1.3v to -3.5v.
I'll throw a few pics up this evening, in case anyone has interest.
Edit: I thought about throwing them on the ground and using that method the Witch Doctor showed me, but I was all out of ground gator teeth.
You'll get it, once I put the pics up...but here's the link;BTW I'd love to know more about this rullywow thing I have now. I guess I could google it, but I am also easily confused
What values are matched or are important and why, depends on the function it is serving in the circuit. Now I'm trying to figure out how important it is to match JFETs for any particular project. The only thing people seem to care about is if it's for a phase shifter.
What transistors?…Now that's how you match transistors.
