Since Japanese Big Muff derivatives are all the rage (see what I did there?)
I had this little mean pink box of fuzz many years ago and gigged with it for a couple years
If you look for info online you'll find a thread I opened on Freestompboxes with the schematic that I got directly from Guyatone (https://www.freestompboxes.org/viewtopic.php?t=7525)
Gutshots appear to be offline unfortunately
It sounded really good especially for solos, lots of harmonics but it could have benefited from a tone pot
It is said it's based on a Big Muff, somebody on FSB commented:
"so it looks muff-like with a few differences. IC input and makeup stages, no muff-tone control, no true bypass, and what probably has the biggest impact on it's tone(besides lack of tone control), is the pair of 1n60's on the output of Q1 causing crossover distortion. maybe that's the "harmonic" in the HD2? haven't seen that mod in a muff circuit before, looks interesting..."
I'd love to build this bad boy with tone control and true bypass
