Help with Nordic Metal PCB Guitar Mania

Hello everyone

I have a question about the Nordic Metal (PCB Mania)
Hope someone can help me.

On the board and bill of materials is a Resistor (R48 , 15k or less)

But i cant find it on the schematic.

Can someone tell about this part? And where it should be in the schematic of the Nordic metal?

You need to follow the traces going from R48. Maybe this is part of one of the modifications described in the doc? R48 is not present on a pcb from doc v1.0

Apologies for reviving an old thread but I had the same question and got a response directly from the PCB designer so I thought I'd post the details here to help close the loop on this one. Having said that, remember that I am just the messenger, I can't vouch for the validity of the purpose but, like @oldworldtarantulas, I was really only looking for where R48 was SUPPOSED to be on the schematic:

PCB Guitar Mania (Gonzalo Segovia):
This resistor was added on the version 1v1 of the board. it is not present on the earlier 1v0.

Basically, what it does is adds resistance of the feedback loop of the opamp and helps setting the gain levels.

Lawd.... when I was in the first year of building I bought a handful of pcbmania boards and never got any of them to work... pure garbage.... literally non of them fired up and I had a lot of sucessful builds prior to that experience.. absolute junk
